Where is my camera?

OK, I’m not actually expecting a camera at this point, I am expecting the results of the inspection of my very-obviously-broken camera. They said it could take up to fifteen days. Today is the fifteenth day and nothing.

They better have a damn good explanation. I have it all planned out: they say “yes your camera is broken, we will now give you your vouchers for its value”, then I don’t say thank you ‘cos I don’t like them much, yet they seem to be the cheapest online camera retailer. I will then proceed to buy myself a new camera, lens and flashgun.

Looks like I won’t have it for the IBAs this year. Or maybe it will arrive the morning I’m due to leave for Dublin like last year… though I’m just not so hopeful this time around.

I’ve ordered stuff from pixmania in the past and always had the fortune of it arriving but friends of mine have found themselves playing the waiting game like you. Have they sent you dispatch details of any sort? If not then a strongly worded letter as to why an item advertised as being in-stock has not been sent yet would be called for. Also let them know that you’re publicly not happy with their service so far, if it gets any worse. Best of luck with it, hope it gets in on time for the IBAs.

Thanks Jonathan, though the problem isn’t getting a product I’ve ordered, but them gettin’ their asses in gear and sorting out my broken camera.

Ah, apologies. That’s what I get for losing context. That’s a nastier situation to be in alright. Fingers crossed and all that.
